Animal Crossing: New Horizonte is quite the incredible success. The game has sold a lot in Japan alone and seems to be the way to be the best selling Wildwechsel and one of the best-selling switch games. This means that after the start is a lot of support and a title with a continuous structure like this is tailored to it. However, with the current state of the world, it could be pushed back.

In conversation with the Washington Post, director Aya Kyogoku reaffirmed that DLC and post-launch material was still in play, but declared due to the current pandemic of the coronavirus that some of them may be moved to a later date. Kyogoku does not say anything about delays, but said, "We are not sure if we have to move something, but I think we have to be flexible." Do not be surprised if, like many things, Wildwechsel is by Covid 19 problems taken.
