Good news for all purists out there.
When Wildwechsel The first game on the GameCube (N64 in Japan) almost two decades ago had a normal old top-down camera view - but the first game of the series is still the only one with this visual style. Starting with Animal Crossing: Wild World On the Nintendo DS Every single Wildwechsel The game has since then has a Rolling Log camera effect.
While this has its own charm, there are many Wildwechsel Purists who still prefer the appearance of the first games and for years a return to this style. With the upcoming Animal Crossing: New Horizonte Nintendo finally makes a compromise that fans of both styles fell.
Gamexplain recently uploaded a video that uploaded from its massive, running Pax East booth 20 minutes off-screen gameplay material from the upcoming title (which you can see below). The video also confirms this Animal Crossing: New Horizonte gives the players the opportunity to return to the flat top-down perspective of the original game. Apparently, you only need to press the right analog check mark to switch between the two styles. Look below - The relevant part was provided with a timestamp.
Animal Crossing: New Horizonte is due for the switch on March 20th.
