Amazon delayed some pre-order deliveries of Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Amazon, the online retailer of everything, video games at light bulbs, contacted some clients to inform them that their copy Pre-ordered Animal Crossing: New Horizons will not arrive on time.

Posts started to appear on Reddit earlier in the day, users went to the social media site to express their frustrations. Many people have seen their delivery date postponed until March 24, or later. Some players have expressed their frustration at the idea that delivery is repulsed, even when they ordered their copy of the game of months in advance.

Currently, the problem seems to be regional, parts of the United States and Canada being affected, but others reporting no delay. If you have pre-ordered a copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizon, we advise you to check your email to see if you are one of the clients concerned.

The reason for the delay is not known at this stage, but some form of staff scarcity in Amazon distribution centers would probably be the culprit. It seems unlikely whether it's a supply problem because the game has been in gold for some time now.
