Re-reckoning drops the most recent DLC teaser

Nearly a year after the release of Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, Fatesworn's first teaser has finally come out. This will be the first new content to go out for Kingdoms of Amalur since the last DLC, Teeth of Naros, released in April 2012.

The DLC, entitled FATSWORN, will present the region of Gale Crossing. The teaser who fell on Steam explores in detail the tradition behind the new region. According to the message, Gale Crossing was an integral part of the Sativa Road. The sativa fiber, an alchemy reagent with physical properties, was a valuable reagent around the effervescence of the sativa industry. However, once the price of the sativa fiber has dropped, the industry, as well as Gale Crossing and Sativa Road, has decreased considerably.

It seems that the DLC will explore this region formerly important but now abandoned: After the fall of Sativa Road, the inhabitants of Gale Crossing continued to depend on foreigners for their survival. Travelers and brave merchants always hoped to cross the mountains as a more direct alternative to maritime navigation, but the vast infrastructure for such hikes began to disintegrate quickly without attention or maintenance. The high prices of the Sativa had resulted in booming periods, funding improvements along the trade route, providing Gale Crossing and smaller camps the equipment needed to support travelers and their teams. Without this money, mountain passes quickly returned to their natural state, mortal and infranchisable.

Paid DLC for New Horizons

According to the Kingdoms of Amalur FAQ page: Re-reckoning, the DLC should disappear by the end of this year. More details may be published on the occasion of THQ Nordic's 10th anniversary.
