Super Mario later jumps on the big screen as expected

Anyone who was looking forward to Super Mario and his big cinema appearance this year has to be patient until 2023.

_ It's me Mario! _ You will have to wait a little longer for the sentence if you want to go to the cinema. Nintendo has announced today that the upcoming Super Mario movie will no longer start this year. Instead, the film will only come to cinemas in April 2023. In the United States, it is time on April 7, 2023, in Japan a few days later on April 28th. Only for Europe there is no specific date in April.

What reasons have led to the shift is not known. But we are now used to shifts, even if it is a film instead of a game this time. In the film industry, it is also not unusual if the publication date of a film is placed on another date. The first Sonic film, for example, was also postponed after the negative criticism of the first trailer because the design had to be adjusted. Ultimately, the right decision, because Sonic's first film adaptation washed a lot of money into the coffers, so that a few weeks ago the second film with the flap -fast blue hedgehog came into our cinemas and is similarly successful.

Not much can be said about the Super Mario film. So far, Nintendo has only revealed who will take over which roles in the film produced by Illumnation and announced the new release date. There are no pictures or even a trailer. But no matter what the film really looks like, worse than the real film from 1993 with Dennis Hopper, Bob Hoskins and others, the upcoming animation film cannot be. I hope so…

SUPER MARIO BROS ACTUALLY HAS A SECRET CODE! The shift also offers potential. In 2023, the first “Super Nintendo World” theme park is to open outside of Japan in the Universal Studios Hollywood. The movie is likely to give the parking of the park.
